The Parachute Series features two days of masterclasses and Creative Coaching aimed at dance artists in their final year of training or first 3 years as graduates. at Elmhurst Ballet School, Birmingham
Minding the Gap is a launch-pad intensive led by Kerry Nicholls and specifically tailored to dancers who are entering their final year of vocational training or those recently graduated from undergraduate study. This 4-day intensive encompasses high-level technique classes and audition practice, alongside professional development sessions and freelance advice. This opportunity will encourage networking, self-reflection, and goal setting, supporting participants in their development towards industry-readiness.
This year Minding the Gap is being offered as a fully immersive experience in Birmingham with the possibility of being residential. Our residential offer – at Elmhurst Ballet School – will include accommodation and meals offering greater opportunities for sharing experiences and building stronger connections without the distraction of everyday responsibilities. Alternatively there is the option of a non-residential offer for those living locally.
Dates: Monday 15th July 2019 – Thursday 18th July 2019
