Held in the beautiful Ashton Studio, each professionally-driven class will feature live music and last for an extended two hours. With restricted numbers for a qualitative experience at a high level, Kerry and longtime-music collaborator David Walters will share their symbiotic connection housed in a fast-paced, energetic and athletically demanding technique class. Using the foundations of Limon and release based techniques, the classes will explore a kinetic use of spatial architectonics with an attention to momentum, qualitative change, and musical sensibility. There will be dedicated time after each class for professional community building, dialogue and networking.

A unique opportunity to work with Kerry for a series of three intensive afternoon workshops within a small group. Kerry will lead choreographic sessions which will form the premise of upcoming new 2013 KND works. Drawing from a bank of physically testing movement language, participants will be led through generative task-based choreographic tools with an aim to rejuvenate their current practice. REDUX: TEACHING DANCE WITH LIVE MUSIC – REDEFINED, REVIVED AND RESTORED
Redux sessions: 15.30-17.30 13th-14th Dec : £40 | SOLD OUT
Kerry and David re-evaluate and re-design the synergy between dance teacher and musician within the studio. The two session course will use discussion and practice to re-ignite the importance of the teacher/musician relationship within the dance class. Dancers and musicians welcome.
