KND Performance Mentoring Programme | 2015

2015 Faculty Announced! Read the full list here.

Now in its second year, we are now running the successful KND Performance Mentoring Programme 2015.

Devised and delivered by KND to boost professional dancers mid-career, we are offering rigorous technical training and thought-provoking workshops from expert guest artists, all underpinned by a tailor-made, individual mentoring scheme.

At a critical point in a dancer’s career, typically unsupported by an educational institution, KND will prepare a small, select group of dancers for an ever-changing and varied job landscape, within a four-month programme. This begins with a two-week studio-intensive encompassing classical and contemporary technique, choreography, voice, yoga, audition techniques, CV/show reel advice, network opportunities and professional development seminars, all delivered by sought-after teachers and artists, including Kerry herself.

Continuing on from the studio-intensive, Kerry will regularly mentor each participant on a one-to-one basis for a further three months. This is devised to encourage and confront current practice within a person-centered structure, supporting new thinking and artistic development.

The confidence gained and the focus I re-directed on my training and career helped me to present myself with new-found awareness and positivity… I have found four jobs since the programme
